"GREENERY IN GREAT DEMAND" CONFERENCE HELD WITHIN THE SCOPE OF THE GREEN EXPO

Last year's edition of the debut conference "Greenery in great demand" attracted nearly 200 people from all over Poland. There were representatives of local governments, architects and entrepreneurs who deal with urban greenery maintenance. This year's session begins on March 1, the agenda promises to be equally interesting

"GREENERY IN GREAT DEMAND" CONFERENCE HELD WITHIN THE SCOPE OF THE GREEN EXPO

Conference opening - 9:30  and the introductory lecture by Joanna Jaśkowiak and Monika Ziętal from the Kielce Geopark. The ladies will talk about hortitherapy. Michał Mydłowski from Ornis Data will then take the floor to discuss old trees. Krzysztof Mróz from Park-M will reveal the recipe for success of the Wroclaw greenery investments.

The air pollution will be extensively discussed - Ewa Trzaskowska PhD. hab. from the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin will talk about the influence of greenery on the city's climate’s implement.

Bees and butterfly breeding is very important, too. Thus this topic is a must on the Green City Expo conference’s agenda.  Włodzisław Barcikowski from Barcikowski Perenial Nursery will introduce the topic. The conference will culminate wth Tomasz Grochowski’s presentation. The Grochowski Nrsery representative will introduce ornamental grasses.
