The world’s largest crown will be a part of the Korona Kielce stadium

Grupa Polskie Składy Budowlane (Polish Building Depots Group PSB) has provided its support for the unusual initiative of the Selena company. Selena suggested setting an new GUINNESS record. The spectacular event was taking place in Targi Kielce exhibition centre at the PSB’S Group trade fair; it was the time when the “World’s Largest Glazed Tiles Sculpture” was created. The sculpture in the shape of a Golden Crown is 3.16 metres tall and has the diameter of 3.5.

Poland’s best tile-layers; including Polish Tiling Champions had taken the challenge and attained the world-record success. The procedure was supervised by the Guinness World Records observer.

It was not a coincidence that the crown has been selected as the model for the sculpture as the Crown is a very important element of local inhabitants’ identity. Not only is this the Kielce’s coat of arms, but also the symbol of the T-Mobile’s Champions League team – the Korona Kielce (The Kielce’s Crown). The record-breaking crown sculpture will be placed at the Kornona’s stadium
