Specialists' talk-shop - new market for Polish fruit and vegetable growers discussed qt HORT-TECHNIKA
13 new directions for Polish food producers, including fruit and vegetables producers have been presented by the Ministry of Agriculture - this will naturally become a discussion topic for the HORT-TECHNIKA expo held in Kielce on 27-28 November. Algeria is one of the new export markets. The cooperation possibilities with this and other countries, potential markets for Polish fruit growers will be discussed by experts brought together at the Fruit & Vegetable Conference held 27 November in Targi Kielce
In order to be successful in Algerian market, its needs and a variety of conditions must be considered; sometimes conditions largely differ from those known by Polish producers. The Centre for Ecology and Economic Promotion in Pulawy - the operator of Polish-Algerian cluster will share its experiences and observations.
- The Kielce's Conference Fruit & Vegetable discussion topics will include the methods of Polish fruit and vegetables sales in Algeria. Prospects for production cooperation based on Polish breeding materials, seeds and fruit will also be analysed - says one of the Kielce conference speakers Czesław Rolla of Pulawy CEiPG. - We would like to familiarise the conference participants with different operation concept designed for the Algerian market. Despite the many differences between our countries, Algeria offers a very good development trend. Due to political and historical reasons, Algeria is positive towards Poland and Polish producers. There has been a great interest in our agricultural offer; all kinds of conferences, B2B meetings always bring together many Algerian businessmen and ministry-level officials. This opens the opportunity for effective Polish-Algerian collaboration.
The Kielce's HORT-TECHNIKA expo will also feature other promising exports prospects and cooperation possibilities for fruit and vegetable producers. This will also be a discussion platform on present-day situation in Poland's fruit and vegetable market and the directions its development should assume.
