Heat pump market discussed at the ENEX Expo

Despite the ever increasing heat pump technology popularity and availability, it is still worth talking, educating and exchanging knowledge and experiences. Therefore the upcoming, the 20th International Power Industry Fair ENEX staged in Targi Kielce commences with the heat-pump day. 1 March 2017 marks the 10th, jubilee national Heat Pump and Heating Technology Forum

The Heat Pumps Forum will serve as the 2016's heat pumps market resolution. This will be complemented with industry's latest developments, support programs for energy efficiency investments, guidance and analysis of the proper investments implementation. The event culminates with the competition for installers resolution - "BEST PRACTICES IN BEST HANDS" - Thomas Zubilewicz - the famous TV weatherman and personality is the gala MC. This is an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences between designers, contractors and investors interested in heat pumps use.

2016's heat pumps market - can the previous years' success be repeated?

A heat pump - a heating device, which does not generate power and is used only for energy distribution. What does that mean in practice? That means that we pay for only about 1/3 - 1/4 of the energy price. This is because a heat pump primarily uses on the lower heat source, i.e. energy from the ground, water or air. It comes as no surprise that investors have demonstrated a growing interest in this device-type.

The research conducted at the beginning of 2016 by the Polish Organization for Heat Pump Technology Development showed that since 2010 the compressor, electric heat pumps market has almost tripled. 2015 in Poland saw heat pumps sales increased by 20%. The spectacular growth was demonstrated in air heat pumps market - the growth hit 70%.

The reality confirms and surpasses the forecast for the heat pump market!

2015's projected sales in pumps sector was approx. 18,000 units, while studies showed that  approx 23% units were sold. 2016's forecast was 21,000 units. Can the producers and distributors succeed in repeat this success this year too?
