HEAT PUMPS AND PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS? NO MORE CONCERNS!

Photovoltaics and heat pumps - is this the future for Poland's RES market?

ENEX / ENEX New Energy - myths buster and changes facilitator for investors

And although seemingly heating industry has already become mature, heat pumps sector has something to offer. This in turn increases investors' doubts.  The most common myths and clichés come into one's mind just before installation procedure starts.

Where to find knowledgeable experts?

At the 19th International Power Industry Fair and the 14th Fair of Renewable Sources of Energy held on 30 and 31 March 2016 in Targi Kielce; the events' programme includes the Technology Forum under the aegis of the GLOBEnergia editorial team. The eighth Forum includes SOLAR + (31 March 2016).

The  SOLAR + Forum programme contains a large dose of knowledge and trends of the photovoltaic market in Poland at the turn of 2015/2016. This takes you step by step through the investment process; you will learn how assembly the installation elements properly. This will be enhanced with information on technological novelties in photovoltaics. The Contractors Panel will serve as the event's recapitulations: this will focus PV industry's most topical problems and market challenges.

And what do investors lose sleep over?

First of all investors are vexed with the myths, One of them holds that heat pump unit are noisy. Nothing further from the truth! Present day heat pump technologies are so advanced that devices do not ruin the home's silence; you will not be interfered.  For example, air heat pumps boast fans that generate noise at the levels of 65 dB; the latest solutions this level is reduced down to 48dB.

And what's next? First and foremost - room's size and features. Heat pumps year after year are getting smaller and smaller. All you need is a place as small as the one you would need to put a refrigerator in; this is how much we need to improve our heating system by implementing a modern device. As for the room is concerned - it should be clean, with tiled walls and, most importantly with electricity and water installation. A heat pumps should not therefore be "hidden" in the farthest corners of our house". On the contrary; you need to have easy access to the device.  Another barrier - high investment cost. Why not spending a bit more today only to pay less in the future?

The same thing applies to devices-combination options. Not everyone is aware of the fact that there is no need for a "revolution" in your heating system. Sometimes it is enough to complete the installation with a heat pump. Yes, it can be done! How? What conditions must we meet? Your contractor is best person to ask. Well, it is a good idea to make inquiries with more than one company and get a full picture. Fortunately, the 9th National Heat Pump Forum held on 30th March 2016 in Kielce has been designed to provide answers to all our questions. The Industry Forum focuses on the market challenges and problems. This is the place for market insiders to air out their opinions.

And how about photovoltaics - is there anything in common with the heat pump sector?

Both technologies work hand in hand. Clean, photovoltaics-generated electricity fits heat pump concept perfectly.  New technologies raise many questions and doubts: investment process length and details, technical issues, grid connection.  Also, the new law on renewable energy sources is not fully comprehensible; investors have problems with the interpretation of RES act provisions. In addition to the RES Act, there is a number of support programme; however one should stop for a moment and compare to the RES Act. Moreover, the photovoltaics market is strongly advancing, new technological and system solutions appear every day. How to find your bearings, where to get answers to your questions? How to choose what suits me best? How to make the system most effective? Here we can also count on experts help.
