HOPE TO SEE YOU! HOPE TO LISTEN TO YOU! - A PLENARY LECTURE AT THE OSKA 2019 AT TARGI KIELCE

It is estimated that about 90% of the information is acquire visually. The other senses (including hearing) provide us the remaining 10%. Rarely do we use only one of the senses selectively. Observation of the relationship between stimuli allows for a more in-depth reality perception and more effective knowledge acquisition. And inconsistency in incoming information can be a "red lamp" that shows that "something is not right".  This lecture will make it possible to take a look and listen about visual perception’s impact on what we hear. We will think about the video clip which impacts the music, and how the music impacts the film. The importance of the concert lighting and how its influence on reception will be discussed. Can a graph make it possible to deduce the sound system’s tonality? We will work out some important sound charts  which impact the sound perception
-  This is how
Magdalena Piotrowska  PhD. encourages to take part in her lecture delivered as the opening address of the  6th  National Students Conference  for Sound-Engineers held in Targi Kielce’s Congress Centre.

We invite you to take part in the lecture session on the first day of the Digital Stage Europe Pro Audio and Light Event - March 7 at 4:00 PM in the Omega congress hall.
