Ukrainian farm owners will make a tour over the Kielce's HORTI-TECH expo on 19 November.
The visit objective is to establish cooperation with Polish companies, including those
that offer fruit and vegetable farms equipment

The guests will mainly represent the Vinnytsia region, where  agricultural production  is the main sector of economy. Not only are they interested in  fruit-growing techniques  and Polish machines. They also want to learn from  Polish fruit and vegetable producers  how to meet the European Union's production standards. Therefore not only will the delegation visit the Fruit and Vegetable Technology Expo HORTI-TECH but also the orchards owned by the Sandomierz-based San-Export LLC.

- Ukrainian producers have clearly demonstrated their interest in cooperation with Polish companies. Thus the many-participant delegation comes to talk shop and to discuss future contracts. Not only are they into the newfruit and vegetable farming equipment. They come to Poland to expand knowledge and expertise, seek experts' support and advice on investments and  production processes organisation  based on the EU requirements. This objective is realised through meetings, conferences that bring together Polish specialists, just like the events held within the scope of Kielce's Horti-Tech - says Krzysztof Kalita, president of the Europe - East Integration Association, the co-organizer of the Ukrainian  agricultural producers' visit  to  Kielce and Sandomierz. - Prospects for Polish-Ukrainian cooperation are really promising, however Ukrainian partners need experts' support in adaptation and standardization. Only by achieving adequate quality standards, the Ukrainian partners can successfully engage in cooperation in the European markets. This will benefit all parties. We have been preparing an international project that will address these issues - says Mr Kalita.
