The programme of the Targi Kielce’s 27th International Sport and Outdoor Equipment Fair KIELCE SPORT – ZIMA encompasses a competition for exhibitors and trade fair visitors; they can try their hand at stationary rowing machines.

Contestants entering the first tournament series were supposed to cover the 500 metre distance in the shortest possible time; this task turned out to be mire difficult than it had seemed before. The best rower went down to 1 minute 58 seconds. Competition winner were presented with sports-related books.

Rowers use the stationary rowing machine for trainings; the machine allows to keep fit during the winter season, when a regular water training is not possible. Rowing also stresses many muscle groups; these are the abdominal areas, leg and shoulder muscles in particular. Energometer is a perfect simulation of water-craft rowing action.
