Recent reconnaissance robots displayed at MSPO
One of the many novelties presented by the Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurements at this year's International Defence Industry Exhibition (1-4 September), is PIAP GRYF.
PIAP GRYF® is an in-field reconnaissance robot also used for remote and inaccessible places. Its manipulator with 5 degrees of freedom with a gripping device allow to lift loads of up to 15 kg. Robot’s wheels can easily be removed, which reduces the robot's dimensions and facilitates mission-capabilities wherever space is limited. e applied With its drives, the robot smoothly overcomes uneven-terrain obstacles and slopes up to 45° angle. The robot is characterised with excellent maneuverability. Low weight for easy transport and carrying. The robot owing to its modular design allows for quick and easy mounting of additional equipment. the PIAP GRYF® mobile robot is designed to work with a whole array of accessories including pyrotechnic ejectors (eg. RE 70M3 Plus - Chemring, Proparms Recoilless 12.5 mm and 20 mm), a shotgun (eg. Benelli), X-ray devices (eg. Vision-X MK5) explosive trace detectors (e.g.. M0-2M) fibre optic winders and remote explosives detonation unit.
