The Innerspec Technologies company has its division in Spian. This is the world leader in the EMAT technology as well as in production of high-power ultrasonic instrumentation. The EMAT technology is used for non-contact, ultra-sound non-destructive testing. The CONTROL-TECH trade fair will be the showcase for Innerspec Technologies presenting their temate® PowerBox instrumentation. This is an ultra-sound, portable instrument which makes it possible to run flaw detection tests, thickness measurements as well as materials structure assessment. The device can be used both in laboratories and for in-the-field testing. The appliance is capable of signal generation of 1,200 V or 8 kW peak power at 300 Hz frequency. The machine can be equipped with the EMAT heads as well as with the piezoelectric ones.
