Italian Minister of National Defence Giampaolo di Paola, upon their last meeting Poland’s Minister of National Defence Tomasz Siemoniak, has confirmed his attendance at the International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) in Kielce. The September MSPO trade fair will feature the national exhibition of Italy.
- National exhibitions have become the tradition of out defence industry sector trade fairs; they present the potentials of specific counties – explains Andrzej Mochoń; the Preseinent President of Targi Kielce; the event organiser – until now we have hosted the national exhibitions of Israel, Germany, Sweden, France, Great Britain as well as Visegrad Group countries and America.
The showroom of Italian Ministry of Defence and the Italian defence industry will be displayed on 500 square metres of the indoor exhibition space and on 500 m2 of the outdoor display area. The Italian Ministry of Defence has also prepared the conference which brings together representatives of the Polish, German, French and British Ministries of Defence.
This year’s MSPO will beheld from 3rd to 6th September ; the twentieth edition will bring together over 400 companies from 32 countries. Kielce’s Defence Industry Exhibition is the only event of this kind in Poland and one of the three largest events in Europe, ranked just after London and Paris.
The MSPO’s presentation is one the elements of military and technical cooperation between Poland and Italy; this is the result of the Polish – Italian agreement signed in March 2012 by Tomasz Siemoniak on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Poland and Giampaolo di Paola Memorandum on behalf of Italy.
