JUBILEE AT THE 2018 METAL

Many companies celebrate their jubilees during the 22nd unveiling of he METAL foundry expo in 2019 held in the Kielce exhibition and congress centre  . One of the jubiliarians is DES ART. 2018 is unique for the company for two reasons - not only has it cooperated for 10 years with its key partner i.e. Altair Engineering, but it has also been 15 years of the company in business.  These are the two very important jubilees which mark the company's history so and milestones on the way for the computer simulations in the design process increased importance.

DES ART - 15 years of experience

Ever since the beginning, DES ART has provided CAE numerical simulation and CAD design services.  Today, it has grown and developed to become one of the most advanced in the EM technology in various  industries.  ​​DES ART's portfolio includes linear and non-linear materials strength analyses, kinematic-dynamic systems simulations,  thermal analyses, pouring, solidification, fatigue processes calculations, natural frequencies and others. More than 15 years of experience, high flexibility and a wide range of services have made DES ART a trustworthy partner in both among the business-leaders as well as among highly-specialised companies.

The key cooperation

The DES ART cooperation with Altair Engineering was established in 2008. This collaboration has mad it possible to extend the DES ART portfolio  to include gases and liquids flows analyses, composite materials simulation and optimization, high and low frequency electromagnetic calculations, etc. For all this successful cooperation time DES ART has been the only authorized distributor of the Altair HyperWorks environment in Poland. Only recently is has also offered the Altair Inspire package for technological processes simulation.  The Altair products constant development has a real impact on the DES ART team increasing the. This competitive advantage makes it possible to respond to current industry needs’ in a comprehensive was and flexibly match the offer with highly innovative projects. 

Cooperation in many fields

DES ART, in conjunction with Altair promotes in Poland advanced CAE solutions designed to carry out research and scientific. These are also perfect for prototype products analyses. This is also a perfect chance to enhance cooperation with academic milieus.  The knowledge and experience of both companies are now utilised by scientific institutions and clubs at Polish universities as well as students who participate in postgraduate studies programme created in conjunction with the Gdańsk University of Technology -  "Computer simulations for engineers".

The International Fair of Technologies for Foundry METAL held from September 25 to 27  in Targi Kielce  is ranked among the most important  and the largest  foundry industry  events of this type in Central and Eastern Europe. For years the expo has brought together participants from around the world - a large group of exhibitors that offer the latest technologies and a whole array of visitors - this is a properly selected target group. The expo guests are business-insiders and representatives of related sectors.
