More than 800 companies from home and abroad are gearing up for the 20th edition of the plastics and rubber industry expo. The event starts on May 17
20 years ago PLASTPOL made its début; the whole exhibition used just one of Targi Kielce's Expo Halls. Today's International Fair of Plastics and Rubber Processing uses more than 30 thousand square metres of exhibition space. The momentum scale the expo has achieved is defined in: Poland's most interjectional events, one of Europe's largest business-sector events; a comprehensive presentation of the industry's and market's standing and condition. It is worth visiting the jubilee, 20th edition this prestigious and acclaimed event.
From a few dozens of companies at the first PLASTPOL edition the expo has advanced to become a première-league event. The Kielce plastics processing industry's expo is one of Europe's leading trade show which brings together more than 800 companies from 31 countries (2015's facts and figures).
- Many well-known plastics market's players use PLASTPOL as an indispensable part of their marketing strategies. Kielce's PLASTPOL enjoys a very good reputation in Europe, the event is also recognised globally. PLASTPOL also gives a comprehensive insight into the economy's state; this sector's growth has a direct impact on the development of other economy parts. Last year's edition offers an optimistic forecast; this is economy development prognostic - says Dariusz Michalak, Trade Fair Department Director at Targi Kielce. - According to the data Poland's industry is ranked sixth position in Europe in terms of plastics consumption. Over 15 years' period Poland's production has tripled.
Most comprehensive and most international event
- For years PLASTPOL has hosted the largest companies; 50 percent of them are foreign firms or enterprises with foreign capital - says Kamil Perz, the event manager. - The exhibition is a comprehensive showcase for the whole industry, the expo scope includes machines and equipment, production lines, granulates and other components, recycling technologies. For the four expo days, Targi Kielce's halls are turned into a small factory with a multitude of machines and production lines which run a regular production. Targi Kielce's Medals awarded during the expo are highly regarded prizes - they often proudly presented prestigious companies' offices. In addition to the expo medals presented to the best companies, PLASTPOL programme also includes the knowledge competition about the plastics market - Omniplast; Exhibitors can win valuable prizes.
