The utilities-equipped investment areas, new technologies and highly specialized staff - these assets are to help boost end enhance Kielce economy. This is the main conclusion after the "Kielce attractive for business" conference organised in the Targi Kielce Congress Centre
The conference was organized by the Mayor of Kielce. Its goal was to present the assumptions of the " City of Kielce Entrepreneurship Support Programme". The program's main intention is to include activities designed ti increase Kielce investment attractiveness and economic competitiveness in the national scale. The discussion panel with Wojciech Lubawski, Kielce Mayor, rectors of Kielce universities - professors Wiesław Trąmpczyński and Jacek Semaniak, Andrzej Mochoń, president of Targi Kielce, Ryszard Grzyb, a local developer, Zbigniew Mojecki, deputy chairman of Społem Production Cooperative and Grzegorz Woelke, the President of Vive Transport presented the genuine ways to build the Kielce brand as well as prestige of companies, education and science institutions based on the relationship with the local community as well as a new dimension of vocational education. - I was surprised when I checked the statistics and it turned out that in the last 5 years the number of new flats commissioned a year increased by 100% - this is about 2000 premises each year. In other words - we have been building Kielce. Let us keep on! - Ryszard Grzyb summarized investments in Kielce. The role of Targi Kielce in the city promotion through the Kielce EXPO-CITY project was emphasized by President Andrzej Mochoń. The Mayor Lubawski sees the chance for Kielce's development through expansion of the Technology Park and the establishment of the Central Office of Measures campus.
