KIELCE DEFENCE EXPO DISCUSSED AT THE SENATE COMMITTEE OF NATIONAL DEFENCE SESSION

The Senate Committee of National Defence convened in Warsaw on October 23, one of the originators of the event - Andrzej Mochoń, president of Targi Kielce was on of the sessions guests

The International Defence Industry Exhibition is Europe's third largest military trade show raked after London and Paris. MSPO is this part of Europe largest and most important military trade show.

- Already last year, at the invitation of the Senate Committee of National Defence chairman - Jaroslaw Rusiecki, a Senator from Kielce I had the pleasure of participating in the meeting and lobbying for International Defence Industry Exhibition - says Andrzej Mochoń, president of Targi Kielce. - We much to be proud of. The defence expo celebrated the 25th anniversary last year. It has been vibrantly developing. MSPO boasts great potential, because Kielce is where the global milieus meet in September. All industry leaders are with us. The main purchasing programmes for the Polish Armed Forces are, large investments will be implemented in the coming years.

New equipment for Polish army is still a hot topic in defence industry. Thus the Defence Expo has been generating more and more avid interest. Visited by more and more foreign delegations, new companies from different continents of the world, the  International Defence Industry Exhibition has become a true industry brand, the highest quality exhibition hallmark.  The topics discussed during the meeting entirely devoted to MSPO included the recapitulation of the last edition held in September.  The Defence Industry Expo in Targi Kielce has gone down in history as the exhibition which brought 624 companies from 31 countries, including 328 Polish companies; the facts and figures indicate the increase compared to the 2017’s edition. The expo hosted 53 delegations official delegations from 46 countries,   MSPO 2018 welcomed 34 106 guests from all over the world, 16,000 people joined the accompanying Open Days - a part of 100th anniversary of Independence celebrations. For the third time the expo was visited the President of the Republic of Poland Mr. Andrzej Duda.   Next year's 27th edition will take place on September 3-6.
