LAS-EXPO

The business sector's new developments

LAS-EXPO

las-expo Lignuma LAS-EXPO 2015 - the fifteenth, jubilee Expo edition is the foresters' festival. This is also the perfect stage for cutting-edge forestry techniques and technologies.

One of the novelties which has already cornered t market will be out on show at Targi Kielce by Lignum. The company's expo stand will be able the showcase for the automated, compact sawing lines for mid-size logs.

The new line is based on circular-saw sawing technology. Is composed of the new doubles-haft circular gang-saw unit BD 500. The appliance has been designed for longitudinal logs sawing with the use of the two spindles. The new, dual-shaft design allows to use as many as 5 circular blades on a single shaft, thus a log is split with 10 saws at the same time. Therefore the sawmill output is up to two piles, two side boards and two off-cuts. The design-advantages  include new system for logs loading and unloading.

The new technology implemented in the machine allows to minimize the number of personnel that operate the circular-saw line says Leszek Górski from the Lignum company  - Thus the piles and planks obtained from the circular-sawmill machine BD-500 are then sorted out and and dimension-saw and edge-saw processed - he adds.

The dimension saw Mn- -4 / B for timber planks is another major machine the mid-size log sawing process line is composed of. The saw has been designed to provide specific length to a previously prepared plank. Formatted planks is piled and  transported prism along a roller conveyor to the double-shaft multi-saw MP-300. This is also one of the LIGNUMA'S new designs. It is designed for longitudinal sawing of the prism so as desired size elements are obtained. Another work-streamline element coupled with the line is a centring table. The new-construction multi-blade saw includes a pressing roller with a shaft in front of the cutting chamber.

If you want to learn about the new machine's advantages, join the LAS-EXPO from 27 to 29 March.
