Last meeting before EURO 2012

The trade fairs and conferences held in Targi Kielce from 8th to 9th November are strictly associated with the preparations for the football championship; safety and security will be the most prominent subject. The first day will conclude with the Gala Fair Play featuring the presentation of PZPN (Polish Football Association) awards in recognition of dedication to improvement of safety at football stadiums.

Every year the Exhibition of Sport Facilities, Fittings and Construction SPORT-OBIEKT brings together representatives of football clubs who deal in security provision as well as club presidents and deputy presidents in addition to regional and local sport activists. This interest in the trade fairs is the proof that local governments more often invest in sport infrastructure
and a visible sign that the preparations for EURO 2012 are about to finish.

There will be over 400 participant of the prestigious conference “Safe Stadium” which is held on 8th November an d accompanies the trade fairs; the conference is co-organised by Polish Football Association. The presentations at this year’s conference will be delivered by the representatives and authorities of PZPN, the specialists from the EURO 2012 organisational committee – PL 2012 Special Purpose Vehicle, Ministry of Interior and Administration, the National Police Headquarters, Boarder Guards, SWPS (High School of Social Psychology) as well as foreign guests representing Austrian and German police departments; they will present their experiences derived from European football tournament as well as the World Cup organisation

The trade fair held simultaneously with the SPORT-OBIEKT exhibition is the Video Surveillance Conference and Exhibition ALARM, which constitutes a perfect complement to it. This year’s edition is mainly devoted to workshops designed for the police – Safety provision at the sport facilities and in public spaces. The workshops will be attended by the police constables from Poland, Germany, Austria, Great Britain, Lithuania, Sweden, Ukraine, Hungary and Latvia. The workshop is scheduled for 9th November.

The trade fair is also the showcase for a few dozens of exhibitors from Poland, Germany and Ukraine. Every day of the fair, starting at 11, the Korona Kielce footballers will be playing at specially designed football pitches.
