The second day of IRFE Expo in Targi Kielce was marked with the presence of little fire-fighters from Stąporków MOSP. Rescue dogs shows staged by GRS Nowy Sacz were also edge-of-seat experience
- The children's team was created in 2015, now the team comprises of 28 little fire-fighters, the youngest is only 4 and the oldest 12 years old. All the members like to practice and learn through fun and play. Our objective has been to create a youth team that can help in our operations - said Jarosław Młodawski MOSP Stąporków.
The dynamic demonstrations staged in Targi Kielce accompanied the KIELCE IFRE-EXPO - this is where the little fire-fighters presented of a doll-house fire suppression-operation. Michael - a dummy-casualty was waiting to be rescued. Michael was rescued, and the little fire-brigade comrades provided first aid - the victim survived the fire. The fire-fighters from Stąporków were rewarded with applause torrents, because the audience were watching the children in action from the very beginning of the drill.
Similar emotions were triggered by the demonstration of the three rescue dogs brought toTargi Kielcebythe Special Rescue Group - OSP Nowy Sacz.
- The dogs have been trained for about two years. They cannot be afraid of noises, nor can they show aggression in training - said Marcin Grudziński from TSO GRS Nowy Sacz when describing the three dog rescuers. - Without these dogs we would not be able to fast and swift.
Grot, Dante and Kokos were willingly presenting their skills - a special square was the presentations arena. And after the shows in full sun ... they could jump into a special pool - this treat and fun was the reward for the dogs' efforts.
