Masterly make-up at the Venus trade fair

The VENUS trade fair is the arena for very interesting competitions which keep the spectators at the edge of the seat; one of them is undoubtedly the final of the 7th National Championship in Professional Make-up, the event which brought together crowds of spectators and supporters.

On the stage there were 5 finalists competing in the final round; the group comprised amateur make-up artists from Warsaw, Kielce and Ziembice. The theme for this year’s contest was the “Cocktail Make-up with the Use of Shine and Transparency”. The contestants had 45 minutes to do the make-up; the results were assessed by the professional jury panel chaired by Ewa Filipecka – the many time Polish champion.

The contest laureate is a third year student of cosmetology – Paulina Chjnacka who comes from Kielce. Katarzyna Jedynak form Ziębice was the runner up and Małgorzata Brzozowska from Warsaw was ranked third.

This is a great surprise for me – said Paulina Chojnacka having heard the jury panel decision – I study cosmetology and I am very much into make-up. I did not expect that I would be presented with this accolade when I compared my work to the work of other contestants.
