Meet the OMNIPLAST 2013 finalists

The 4th edition of the of the contest of plastic processing knowledge had started already in winter. Following the previous years’ example it has been the companies which have joined the PLASTPOL as exhibitors.

Each of the contest participants, having previously registered, was emailed a set of questions about plastic processing technologies, plastics, features of polymer materials as well as the broadly defined plastic industry market sector in Poland and Europe. These were the proceedings for the first two rounds of the contest. The jury panel then selected the final ten at the beginning of May.

The third phase of the contest was a written test held in Targi Kielce centre during the first day of the 17th International Fair of Plastics and Rubber Processing PLASTPOL 2013. 9 out of 10 contestants who had been selected in the 2nd phase entered this part of the competition. In the third phase two contestants scored the same number of points. According to the regulations, the final result was based on a greater number of points one of them had gained in the phase 1 and 2 and thus was ranked higher.

• III place – a discount coupon of 2.000,- PLN worth was presented to PAWEŁ RUP of the A.SCHULMAN POLSKA from Warsaw
• II place - a discount coupon of 4.000,- PLN worth was presented to Mr WACŁAW KOCEMBA of the OERLIKON BALZERS COATING POLAND from Polkowice
• I place - a discount coupon of 6.000,- PLN as well as the OMNIPLAST 2013 title was awarded to Mr MICHAŁ ŁUKAWSKI of the TELKO - POLAND company from Warsaw
