Mega crane erecting the look-on tower

The International Fair of Road Construction Industry AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA - the exhibition which starts on 8th May is springing like a mushroom. The largest Congress Centre in south-east of Poland and its 57-metre tall look-on tower are also growing rapidly


AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA, the only trade fair of this kind in Europe – the presentation platform for the leading international brands and the biggest road construction concerns from all over the world. This trade for also means a few hundred tons of equipment and over 20,000 trade fair visitors every year in addition to 30,000 square metres of the exhibition space leased as well as over 1000 companies from 29 countries from all over the world. The trade fair opens on Tuesday, 8th May and finishes on Friday.

In a year’s time, having invested over 70 million PLN, Targi Kielce will have the state-of-the-art Congress Centre at its disposal. During the long weekend the tallest tower-crane in Kielce has been put it the construction site – this 60 metre hoist is here to build the Centre’s key element – a 57 metre tall look-on tower made of steel. The tower will be crowned with a red ball whose diameter reaches 3,5 metres. The facility will be fully functional in June 2013
