METAL HAS BEEN FORMALLY LAUNCHED

- This year's METAL is a milestone to another important event in foundry industry. In two years' time, the World Foundry Congress will be staged in Krakow;  the WFC brings together world-class specialists. Kielce's METAL expo will be an integral part the Congress. I would like to express my gratitude to the WFC organisers;  STOP and Mr. Professor Józef Suchy.

The Opening Ceremony of the 21st  International Fair of Technologies for Foundry  was graced with the presence of the industry-related personages and the city and the province authorities. After the Targi Kielce's President's welcome speech,  Maurizio Sala, President of the Italian Foundry Suppliers' Association AMAFOND took the floor. - I am really honoured to partake in the opening ceremony of  METAL expo, especially when we consider the fact that I have attended the expo for 21 years.  Today a new trend has become apparent - the visitor is most important. This expo is a benchmark and reference point for Central Europe  - said the President of the Association at the opening ceremony.

Adam Górny - the Chairman of the Expo Business Council, professor Józef Szczepan Suchy - the Chairman of the Scientific and Industrial Council of METAL, senator Krzysztof Słoń, Deputy Marshal of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship Jan Mackowiak also adressed the public. Świętokrzyskie Deputy Voivode Andrzej Bętkowski formally opened the expo.
