Bus driver contest to be held on 1st October in Targi Kielce centre

MPK reminds; right of way means safety

The contest requires from drivers to be utmost precise when driving on vehicle manoeuvre area

The drivers who have registered for the contest will have to sit the theoretical tests which verify their knowledge on the traffic regulations, the road transport act and the principles regarding first aid provision as well as to demonstrate their practical skills of driving a city bus on a specially designed vehicle manoeuvre area.

The contest in not only about sport competition; the idea behind it is promotion of safe and economical driving as well as boosting the prestige of drivers profession. The contest has been designed for drivers who have been working for at least a year. The contest winner will be pronounced the best driver in the vehicle transport category.

The contest commences on 1st October (Saturday) at 9.00.

The contest organisers are: MPK Kielce, Targi Kielce, Road Transport Inspectorate, Voivodeship Traffic Centre, City Transport Board, Kielce Automobile Club, Voivodeship Police Headquarters, National BRD Centre, Świętokrzyskie Association of Transport and Services, Driving School A. Chudy. Medical safeguard services are provided by Supramed-Trans Jacek Miśta.

Kielce Mayor Wojciech Lubawski has granted his honorary patronage to the event.
