MSPO AWARDS TORRENTS

The gala ceremony which culminated the last day of the International Defence Industry Exhibition was when the winners of accolades were presented. The Republic of Poland President's Award for the product which enhances the level of security of the soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland was one of the distinctions presented

Traditionally, the fourth day of the exhibition features the Defender gala. The event was the awarding ceremony of prizes and distinctions and laurels for the best military attaché in two categories of the shooting competition - long arms and short arms. The prizes were also presented by the commanders of the services subordinate to the Minister of Internal Affairsthe Chief Commander of the Police and Commander-in-Chief of the Border Guard.  The Gala was also the opportunity to hand out the Cup to Commander General of the Armed Forces for winning the "Best presentation - best expo stand" competition as well as the Territorial Defence Forces Commander's Award and the Inspectorate for Armed Forces Support distinction.  The Defender awarding ceremony was graced with the presence of the Secretary of State in Ministry of National Defence, Chairman of the MSPO Program Board Mr. Bartosz Kownacki and the director of the Department of Armaments Policy at Poland's MOD- Colonel Karol Dymanowski.   The awarding ceremony also encompassed the special distinction of the MOD Secretary of State and  Targi Kielce Management Board head's accolade.  The Minister of National Defence distinction was presented to "Tarnów" Mechanical Works, , and the President of Poland awarded the distinction to the professor Janusz Groszkowski Military Institute of Communications from Zegrze. 

Targi Kielce also appreciated the best expo presentations and awarded medals and distinctions for most interesting expo stands. The gala also was the occasion to recognise companies which have participated in each International Defence Industry Exhibition edition.
