The seventh edition of the Work Career Development Trade Fair encompassed the debate on “University – business cooperation boosts the region’s chance for development” held within the framework of the 2nd Business Education Development Forum. The debate introductory lecture on “University – business cooperation benefits – economic aspects” was delivered by Ludwik Soboloewski PhD, the former Warsaw Stocks Exchange President.
Dr Ludwik Sobolewski discussed the questions of company innovativeness, the significance of intellectual capital and analysed the business sector – university interdependencies. The lecturer also described problems in Poland’s financial market. The meeting was attended by students, entrepreneurs and university scientists.
The forum continued with the “University – business cooperation boosts the region’s chance for development” debate; the discussion focussed on the possibility of academic and business milieus cooperation with regards to scientific research and diploma thesis crafted around the industry needs.
Entrepreneurship workshops for students will be held on 26th March. Specialists will be discussing different work-related aspects such as a business plan, one’s first steps in the labour market, job interview presentation and personality typology.
