The 18th international sacred and church art expo programme included the "Contemporary Museum - Church Museums" conference held in Targi Kielce
The meeting of church and diocese museums directors and art conservers with Rev. Bishop HE Michał Janocha was held in Kielce exhibition and congress centre on the second day of the International Exhibition of Church Construction, Church Fittings and Furnishings and Religious Art SACROEXPO.
The conference was targeted at church and state-owned museum specialists, museum-explorers, cultural scholars and art historians.
The conference agenda, in addition to the elections of the Association for Church Museums, offered the chance to exchange views, experiences and discussions joint-projects, museums function and objectives in the face of the ever-changing reality.
“Contemporary Museums - Church Museums" Conference in Targi Kielce featured Rev. Bishop Michał Janocha as the keynote speaker. The panel was also an incentive to take part in subsequent conferences of this kind.
The meeting was co-organised by National Institute for Museums and Collections Preservation (NIMOZ) and Piotr Majewski PhD..
