Automation of accounting processes is the main topic of the National Congress of Accountancy Offices. The first day of the congress features the discussion with Sage and Microsoft representatives
Piotr Ciski and Tomasz Dorf took part in the panel discussion. As stressed by the discussions moderator, Piotr Rutkowski speakers’ discrepancies of opinions make sessions most interesting.
The Sage Poland Managing Director stressed that technology has been entering every aspect of life, including the economy. Thus accountants should determine how quickly they are able to adapt and embrace the technological changes. - Technology will require owners to change, it is also indispensable because customers also change. Young people more often choose to be sole proprietors; this generation expects another type service. 7 days a week, 24 hours a day access to documents is one of their priorities - comments Piotr Ciski. It is not possible to turn your back on technologies. The cloud stores documents will soon become a standard.
Tomasz Dorf added that despite technological progress, a robot will not replace tax analysts and advisers. - People are the one to verify, analyse documents and offer advice on how to run a business. - emphasizes Microsoft's SME Segment Director. Tomasz Dorf added that OKBR gives its participants the opportunity to look at the business side.
