Three cutting-edge vessels at MSPO
Naval Shipyard Gdynia SA (in liquidation bankruptcy) is the oldest of Poland's existing shipyard. The shipyard is located in the Port of Gdynia. Its services encompass production and refurbishment of Navy and civilian vessels. It also has the weapons export license.
The Shipyard will be displaying its novelties also at this year's MSPO (1-4 September) and LOGISTYKA expo.
NS 935 patrol ship
This design features steel hulls for safe, convenient and fast shipping. Its transom stern with a platform for stocking chase and surveillance boats. Steel fenders are welded to the ship's sides in order to provide protection in quay mooring operations or docking alongside another vessel. A two-storey light-alloy deckhouse is located in the mid part of the ship and includes both open and enclosed command posts. The rear-end mounted mast carries radar and navigation gear. The new patrol craft are is powered by two MTU diesel engines. Electric power is provided by two generators equipped with Caterpillar diesel engines and one 35 kVA harbour generator. The engine room is fully automated. Air conditioned crew accommodation spaces are located forward in the hull and in the deckhouse.
There display will also include 722-type landing vessel as well as the SAR search and rescue vessel. 722-type landing vessel is the latest and final version of the 770 design, (North type in NATO code). It was built in 2002 at the request of Yemen.
23rd MSPO will be held from 1 to 4 September in Targi Kielce. It will be complemented with the International Logistics Fair LOGISTYKA 400 exhibitors from 23 countries, including Brazil, Russia, Israel, South Korea, India have already confirmed their presence at the event.
