This year’s edition of Bologna’s Tanexpo fair brought together 200 exhibitors from 20 countries; the trade fair occupied 23 000 m2 of the exhibition space. This is Europe’s largest event. The presidents of national Funeral Chambers were invited for the trade fair opening ceremony, including Witold Skrzydlewski – the President of Polish Funeral Chamber as well as Renato Miazzolo (President of FE.N.I.o.F. - Italia Funeral Directors National Association), Giuseppe Bellachioma (President of Feler.Co. F..It. - Italia Federation of Funeral Sektor), Dirk Van Vuure (Secretary- Treasurer FIAT-IFTA), Jisheng Wang (Vice President of China Funeral Association, and Kylliki Forsius (President of the Finnish Association of funeral Services.) The invitations were also issued for the organisers of funeral sector business fairs. Side by side with Targi Kielce, the organiser of NECROEXPO there also were the organisers of the exhibitions devoted to the funeral sector from Hong Kong, Russia, Ukraine, Spain, the USA or Mexico. Thus the event brought together the Presidents of the world’s largest funeral chambers in addition to the organisers of the most important business sector events.

The PIP President had a chance to talk to the representative of FIAT IFTA as well as the President of China Funeral Association. First and foremost they focused upon robust state of Polish funeral sector as well as experience exchange. As the result of it we will host 12 delegates – the representatives of the national business sector, in Kielce at the NECROEXPO trade fair.

The trade fair was attended by 17,000 guests representing 54 countries. Some of them also paid their visits to the Polish National Stand and the representatives of the Polish Funeral Chamber and the companies of Prima - Tech and Graverline and Targi Kielce. The exhibition stand was busy for three days; the presence of three Polish – Italian interpreters was a proof of it. Business talks and offer presentations were held for four hours a day; the offer turned out to be attractive for Italian and other potential cooperating parties.
