Polish market launch will be staged October 8th at the TRANSEXPO
And here we are talking about new constructions of the Urbino 12 and the articulated, 18 metre-long Urbino version . The production is planned for early 2015; the company already has already received orders for Urbino in its première version. This is a completely transformed the bus design - a much lighter, more durable construction with an attractive design. A number of improvements in all areas of the vehicle have been introduced. At the same time the bus has retained the characteristic features of its previous versions; these solutions have proven to be useful for the dozen of years of operation.
The bus features the following advantages - a much lighter construction and "skin on skin" assembly technology, the completely altered interior, smoother and more comfortable driving, clear and consistent design.
Even before its official launch, the new Solaris has been ordered by first customers. One of these customers has been Busbetrieb Josef Ettenhuber GmbH - the Bavarian bus-carrier from Glonn-Schlacht near Munich. The company has been cooperating with Solaris for many years. The new bus delivery is scheduled for the beginning of 2015.
The new Solaris will be unveiled for the first time at the IAA in Hanover on September 24. The Polish launch bus will take place on October 8 at the TRANSEXPO staged in Kielce . The new Solaris will also be presented at the October FIAA expo in Madrid as well as at the Persontraffik in Stockholm. The sneak-previews views of the new vehicle can also be followed on www.nowysolaris.pl.
