NOVELTIES SHOWCASED AT THE AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA - SAFEEND U-15A ENERGY ABSORBING DEVICE

In Poland, the energy-saving device SafeEnd U-15a has already been installed on the S-8
and S-7 trunk roads as well as at Gdansk South Ring-Road.

This device is intended for dividing lanes or on the side-of-the-road application - used as a safe barrier termination in places where vehicles may collide with a barrier head or where collisions with barriers' have frequently been observed.

SafeEnd width is only 24 cm - a perfect solution for limited accessibility  spots and on 2 + 1 roads.  It can be used as anchoring point for protective barriers (both fixed and temporary) as well as  used as a self-supporting structure, not connected to barriers.  SafeEND is a two-way, bidirectional device.

SafeEnd provides the highest level of safety - in crash tests it attained the ASI A score.  It was a subject of crash tests at 110 km / h according to EN 1317 standard; this is the first system of this kind in Poland which has met the latest requirements for this product-type.  SafeEnd was put to another crash test - the section which connects the SafeEnd device with road barriers. This is not a typical test for energy-saving shields.

The AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA  expo held in Targi Kielce commences soon.  From 9 to 11 May, the Kielce exhibition centre will be the showcase for the road-engineering business sector. The exhibitors list includes Seafroad RRS Poland whose expo stand is located in the E Expo Hall, booth number 6.
