OKBR  is Poland’s first event of this type - 22 to 23 November in the  Congress CentreTargi Kielce . All those associated with the SME industry are invited to participate in the Congress  - accounting offices owners  as well as suppliers for SME sector.

The first day of the event saw the panel discussion on "Local authorities as key SMEs’ partners: strategy, tools, good practices" - the Panel featured Professor   Andrzej Sztando PhD. hab from the Wrocław University of Economics, Szymon Klus, the Department of Trade and International Cooperation expert at the Ministry of Enterprise and Technology and Alina Rudnicka-Acosta, the Management Board member at EPSA BPO SA

 Andrzej Sztando PhD. Hab. has offered advisory services for public authorities of all levels for 23 years; he counselled on the strategic cities and regions development management.  In his speech during  
1st the National Congress of Accountancy Offices  Professor Sztando explained the essence of   SMEs  for the local development strategies adopted by self-government authorities. He also indicated how to motivate these authorities in order to build and implement economic development strategies, how to get involved in agenda development and gain a real impact on the agenda shape. He also presented how entrepreneurs can cooperate with local authorities at various stages of the agenda implementation. The lecture has been illustrated with apt examples.

Lectures and workshop sessions  of the  I edition of OKBR 2018  will continue today until 17.40. The first day of the Congress will be concluded with the Gala ceremony.  Tomorrow, November 23, lectures and workshops start at 9.00 and continue until 17.30.
