OMEGA HALL WITH GALA OPENING CEREMONY

International Defence Industry Exhibition has officially commenced  The ceremony was graced with the presence of, inter alia Polish Defense Minister Tomasz Siemoniak and Norway's Minister of Defence - Ine Eriksen Soereide, as well as Poland's Foreign Affairs Minister Grzegorz Schetyna and 66 foreign delegations from 47 countries.

- When holding the first International Defence Industry Exhibition we had not even dreamed about its today's spectacular scale. Kielce expo is the showcase for the Polish defense industry to present its military and civil-application offers to international clients, it also draws from the global corporations' experience.  We have developed a world-class event, Europe's rankings fore-runner - said Andrzej Mochoń PhD, Targi Kielce President of Board during the opening ceremony.

The Norway's Defense Minister also took the floor at the opening ceremony.  Lady Minister stressed the importance of bilateral cooperation between Poland and Norway and also the International Defence Industry Exhibition's significance.  

- Relations between our countries have continues to develop.  Today's reality requires the strong cooperation between the NATO countries. Today we have the opportunity to present the offer of several Norwegian defense sector companies and discuss future projects. MSPO is one of the world's most important industry events, a great place to show our offer. It is great honour for me to attend the event which demonstrated a great and always-growing potentials  -  Ine Eriksen said Soereide.

The 23rd MSPO edition is a record-breaking one. The exhibitors put their products and services  on over 27.000 square metres. There are 550 exhibitor from 30 countries.
