Human Motion Suit (HMS) put on show at the Silesian University of Technology's stand, is a novel commercializable hardware and software system, that performs synchronous motion capture measurements and enables processing simultaneous motion data up to 50 people on one PC.

A client application software enables acquisition, visualization, and processing of data from wearable suits. It supports dozens of industrial formats, real time preview of motion capture, simultaneous recording, viewing and replaying recorded MoCap.
The system has modular structure, that enables simple extensions of its capabilities with dedicated plug-ins. The acquired data is collected and organized in the cloud based Human Motion Database.

The suit is scalable, using up to 50 miniature IMU sensors, sewn into a fitted unencumbering suit that is worn under the clothing. High accuracy is maintained using custom Kalman filters.
The system enables outdoor motion capture, processing and streaming to cloud, even in extreme situations such a skiing, and directing remote sessions from the studio.

  • Ideal for Human Movement Research with unprecedented performance involving biomechanics, physical therapy, movement disorders, sport training optimization;
  • Allows to Complex Multiperson Motion Capture and Processing for  Entertainment, Games Industry;
  • Useful for research applications involving: activity monitoring, energy expenditure, fall prediction, altitude and heading, orientation tracking.
