PARAGIEŁDA GROWS MORE AND MORE INTERNATIONAL

The Astronomy and Space Centre of Kiev Palace of Children and Youth  is an extracurricular educational institution designed for teaching and education of children and teenagers.  The beginnings of the Cenrte's activity date back to 1965.  The Centre features the scientific sections such as:

• Introdution to technical modelling;
• Kites construction;
• Airplane modelling;
• Rocket modelling;
• Young amateur operators of radiocommunication services;
• Young sturman-pilots;
• Young paratroopers;

The educational process is based on documents and programmes of the Aviation Universities . The Centre has Ukraine's only modern knowledge base that has been created in conjunction with a pedagogical team of Ukraine's Ministry of Defence.

Children acquire aviation knowledge and skills with the use of simulators. The Centre's most important goal is to educate healthy, hardworking, responsible and creative young people who will become a new generation of Ukraine's pilots.   

 This year' Paragiełda - the Light Aviation Expo 2017 is held on 7 and 8 October - come to Targi Kielce and meet the Astronomy and Space Centre of Kiev Palace of Children and Youth representatives.  We look forward to seeing you.
