Presentation of start-ups' offer for the defense industry, the "Innovations in defense" seminar - September 7 at Kielce's defense industry trade-show
For 15 years the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development has supported development of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. Among the innovative start-ups, the are also those involved in the defense industry. PARP will present these at the 2016's International Defence Exhibition in Targi Kielce held from 6 to 9 September. The Agency also looks forward to seeing you at the seminar on innovative ideas Polish companies which may in due course contribute to safety & security and defense sector development.
Polish technological innovations in demand
Start-ups MSPO participation under the aegis of PARP is an outstanding opportunity to establish international contacts. One of last year's exhibitors offered unmanned systems - at the expo the company teamed with two other companies, one from Israel. Some other start-up marked its presence at the PARP stand - now the company is preparing a project for one of the world's leading defense industry multinationals. This year's MSPO showcases Polish technology start-ups at the PARP umbrella expo stand. Start-ups' business profile may trigger interest of defence industry.
PARP expo stand is the presentation platform for young entrepreneurs that offers satellite technology solutions, gaming developments and technologies for simulation-based trainings.
From virtual technology through artificial intelligence - come and see it at Targi Kielce
The PARP Expo stand is the display for, inter alia: multi-sensor system designed to detect and neutralize drones from ORION Advanced Protection Systems, a simulator produced by CTAadventure based on virtual reality and gestures control, cutting-edge robotics and drones solutions offered by Airbot (presentation of artificial intelligence and automatic image analysis in real-time video). uAvionics, presents integrated, ready to fly unmanned aerial systems based on proprietary, redundant autopilot system. There is also See e-Assist - a mobile device which assists the blind and visually impaired in their daily activities.

Start-ups cooperation with the army is often discussed at debates and conferences. Last year's "Innovations in the service of the defense - opportunities for start-ups" seminar within the scope of MSPO turned out to be a great success. Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, continues a nationwide debate on cooperation between start-ups and defense industry. The next-in-series open-seminar is held within the scope of 2016's MSPO: join the session on September 7, time 10-14, venue - G Expo Hall. Admission free.
One of this year's themes is a cooperation system creation designed to utilise Polish start-ups' potential for defence industry purposes. The seminar will present young entrepreneurs' ideas. APS, It- Factory, CTAdventure offer technologies for the defense sector.
The seminar will also include debates with representatives of: Polish largest armament companies, Ministry of National Defence, Military University of Technology, Warsaw University of Technology and start-ups. The discussions will focus on, inter alia collaboration chances between start-ups and defense industry companies.
