"The Law and Justice wants to be the party of the Polish countryside," argued President Jarosław Kaczyński at a conference in Targi Kielce
Last Law and Justice Convention before the election is held in Targi Kielce. There were many strong arguments, postulates and promises. The President of Law and Justice Jaroslaw Kaczynski, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, MEP Beta Szydło, Minister of Justice Zbigniew Ziobro, Minister of Agriculture Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski and deputy prime minister Piotr Gliński came to Kielce. In addition to politicians, farmers took part in the meeting. The convention focussed on farmers.
- The Law and Justice is and still wants to be the party of the Polish countryside. Polish countryside is a great resource - not only farms, but also a great resource of values our homeland is based on. (...) We want to build on these. Polish countryside is a great beneficiary of our social policy - said PiS President Jarosław Kaczyński.
The Minister Krzysztof Ardanowski raised the EU subsidies question and assured that Poland would not lose any money from the European Union, including liming subsidies, asbestos removal schemes, plastic waste collection and the "Clean Air" program. It was also officially announced that Janusz Wojciechowski was granted the the coordinators of the European Parliament's Agriculture Committee consent to be appointed to the EU Commissioner for Agriculture position.
Farmers will soon be back at the Congress Centre. The convention is also held in the place where the gala ceremony of the AGROTECH International Fair of Agricultural Techniques is usually staged. The Kielce expo is Poland’s as well as Central and Eastern Europe’s most important industry event. The previous edition hosted 75,000 farmers. 13 to 15 March 2020 - another opportunity to repeat the success. AGROTECH - soon to come!
