Arrangements for the event

PLASTPOL 2013

The International Fair of Plastics and Rubber Processing PLASTPOL bring together 17 thousand specialists

The 2013 edition has been scheduled to be held from 7th to 10th May. The exhibition date has been changed owing to number of reasons; first and most important is the fact that the Corpus Christi is celebrated in May 2013. The Targi Kielce calendar of events is also busy at that time and, on the top of that, the ChinaPlas trade fair is held from 20th to 23rd May 2013. Nonetheless the Plastpol trade fair is held in May and the dates do not overlap with other international business sector events. Targi Kielce takes into consideration every minute detail when planning its trade fairs and exhibition, including the dates of other business sector events. Targi Kielce’s professionalism and attention to its clients’ needs are also demonstrated by the fact that CEPLAST 2013 – the Hungarian edition of PLASPOL is not held this year; this decision has been influenced by the dates the Düsseldorf’s K exhibition is held.

An extensive and comprehensive analysis of the survey conducted among the PLASTPOL exhibitors demonstrates that 84% of companies have accepted the fact that the exhibition is to be held from 7th to 10th May. 9% of companies suggested that the exhibition time should also include Saturday (8-11.05), and a mere 2.9% of respondents found neither of the terms suitable for them. 4.1% of exhibitors neither agreed or disagreed. The result distribution and a substantial support the trade fair participants have demonstrated for the PLASTPOL exhibition scheduled for 7th – 10th May have only proven that we were right when putting forward our proposal. The fact that the exhibitors will have extra time to get ready for other events: the K trade fair held every three years, and the Chinese exhibition, only reinforces our decision. In order to meet the expectation of our exhibitors who will display machines and appliance, Targi Kielce makes it premises available at the end of April so that the companies can erect their exhibition stands and assembly the machines.

The International Fair of Plastics and Rubber Processing PLASTPOL is one of Targi Kielce’s leading exhibitions. PLASTPOL is Poland’s largest event dedicated for the business sector of plastics processing in addition to the fact that this is also the most international trade fair event held in our country. The success is also demonstrated in the statistics. The 2012 list of exhibitors consisted of over 700 names of companies from 32 countries of the world; 50% exhibitors were foreign businesses. 17 thousand business insiders had the chance to become familiar with the latest technologies. Some companies participate in the event every other year; this decision is based on their internal regulations and practices; however they have marked their presence in Targi Kielce for a number of years. This is one of the reasons why the PLASTPOL is the Central and Eastern Europe’s leader and the best showcase to present your company and the results of your work. The 2012 edition gained the recognition and coverage of the media in general and business sector publications in particular, journalists from home and abroad observed the rapid development of the exhibition and of Kielce’s trade fair and exhibition centre. The centre has been expanding in order to meet the most demanding clients’ needs. Eastern Poland’s most state-of-the art Congress Centre is to be fully operational in mid-2013; the venue can be used for events which bring together 1000 participants. The end of 2013 will mark the opening of a multi-level car park which can accommodate 500 vehicles, as well as of the western entry terminal; this will be Targi Kielce’s main entrance when road investments and a direct slip-road off the Kielce’s ring road to Warsaw, Krakow and Łódź have been accomplished.

The organisers have also planned to increase the number of business sector meetings. The PLASTPOL 2013 programme will be enriched with events dedicated for business insiders, professionals and company owners. Not only do these seminars provide an opportunity to establish professional relation but also create a chance to expand your knowledge on the latest technologies used in the business sector of plastics processing.
