Poland and Belarus doing business together

The companies from Belarus which have their representation at the trade fairs deal in automotive, railways, construction, agricultural machines, steel and non-ferrous metal foundry. These firms demonstrate their interest in modern technologies and appliances so as they can become familiar with the new developments and to import them into Belarus. At the same time the companies are prospering for potential partners; i.e. Polish companies which find it difficult to enter particular markets such as Russia and the other 10 countries of the Commonwealth of the Independent States.

Belarus’ political stability and predictability provides a great chance for Polish companies which experience hard competition in the trade market. It is also a great opportunity to make use of lower production costs offered by Belarus’ production sector; not only do the local companies offer excess of manufacturing capacities but also there are lower gas, electricity costs. This translates into a substantial cost reduction. Companies from Belarus are keen to enter joint-ventures with Polish counterparts from the metallurgy business sector production and trade.
