The letters of intent and contracts regarding the equipment for the Polish army - the signing ceremonies in the presence of the Minister of National Defence Mariusz Błaszczak
On the first day of the fair there was the signing of letters of intent and contracts ceremony. The Chief of the Armament Inspectorate, Brigadier General Dariusz Pluta PhD. and the PGZ SA President Witold Słowik signed the documents in the presence of the Minister of National Defence Mariusz Blaszczak.
The meeting was held on 3 September. A number of agreements were signed - ppk FGM-148 JAVELIN launchers complemented with ammunition and a training and logistics package, the acquisition of five C-130H HERCULES transport aircraft as part of the Excess Defence Article (EDA) programme will be delivered for the Polish army. The event also included the official signing of contract under which transferable BYSTRA radar stations , command vehicles based on WHO ROSOMAK, night vision goggles - MU-3ADM and MU-3AM as well as PCS-5/1 and PCS-5M shooting night vision devices in addition to NPL-1M BROM-M night vision binoculars and shooting thermal sights SCT Rubin will be delivered for the army.
- We and our American partner have just signed the an inquiry for anti-tank missiles and anti-tank launchers JAVELIN (...) They are to complement the Polish army capabilities. This equipment will be supplied to territorial defence forces - said Minister Mariusz Błaszczak during the meeting. - The second agreement on the increase of the transport fleet capabilities by five HERCULES aircraft - added the Minister of National Defence.
The PGZ exhibition is also the display for short and very short range anti-aircraft and missile defence systems, a new infantry fighting vehicle developed as part of research and development scheme under the code name Borsuk - IFV’s will be complemented with the ZSSW-30 turrets, the Rosomak BMS battalion management system built on the KTO Rosomak platform in configuration 8x8 the and modular, multi-variant tank destroyers on three tracked chassis for the Armed Forces developed as part of the technical dialogue for the Ottokar-Brzoza programe.
The International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO continues until 7 September.
