The Targi Kielce’s MSPO offers the chance for comprehensive offer analysis

Polish companies to facilitate the Ministry of National Defence modernisation

The Ministry of National Defence (MON) conference on “The National Potentials in construction of unmanned platforms” has brought together 150 representatives of Poland’s defence industry sector

In 2011 the MON spent on the broadly defined modernisation the amount of about 6.5 billion PLN. In 2018 MON will spend as much as 9 billion PLN. The Ministry intends to place seventy to eighty percent of its orders at Polish companies of the defence industry sector.

The MON representatives are being familiarised with, inter alia, the domestic offer of unmanned platforms. – Targi Kielce and its International Defence Industry Exhibition is the perfect place for us to look into Polish companies’ offer as well as to hold meetings like this one. Such symposia are used as the platform to present the significance of the problems and familiarise the entrepreneurs with the issues. We hope to see more companies interested in putting in their offers for the Ministry of National Defence on, for instance, unmanned air, water and land systems – said Air Vice Marshal Pilot Leszek Cwojdziński as the summery to the MON’s conference held in Targi Kielce.

Unmanned systems can operate independently or as remote-controlled devices; they are used for load carrying (up to 200 or even 300 kilograms), area surveillance, armed forces support, increasing communication systems’ coverage and range or information transition from the area which is examined by ultra sensitive sensors.
