Polish product launch of Outdoor Research
The products of the American brand to be presented at KIELCE SPORT - LATO 2011
The Outdoor Research company will present its products at the KIELCE SPORT-LATO 2011 fair at the exhibitions stand E23
The only authorised representative of Outdoor Research in our country is the Krakow based Kvapi Products ltd. Company. Marcin Marzec has been appointed the brand manager responsible for the OR brand introduction into Poland; he is the creator of the last winter season’s great market success of seamless underwear Spaio.
- Outdoor Research has been present in Poland for just a few weeks, and as a matter of fact it is going to be our big launch here in Kielce; however, given the quality and innovativeness of the products on offer as well as its price when compared to our competitors I am fully convinced that the brand is deemed to be successful here in Poland. Polish high mountain climbers will be the brand ambassadors; they know and recognise the OR quality products and they will be given our support in their activities – says Marcin Marzec.
At the exhibition stand E23 in targi Kielce exhibition centre Outdoor Research will put on display the Spring-Summer 2012 collection.
- Apart form the outfits made of unique materials and with the use of technologies which are not available on our domestic market, a whole variety of headwear and packaging systems will also be presented. The latter part of the exhibition will present the most comprehensive offer on Polish outdoor market – adds Marcin Marzec.
The new collection of Outdoor Research comprises a few dozens of designs of men’s and women’s apparels including outdoor jackets, Soft Shells, trousers, blouses and t-shirts. The brand has got the headwear on its offer (over 70 designs), gloves (almost 40 designs), gaiters (a few dozen s of models) as well as water proof bags and camping sacks.
- Substantially all the OR products are innovative; each of them has got a “trait of technological novelty” in it. The OR company has got its own laboratories in the USA, season by season they work their product excellence. OR produces their own two and three-ply laminates, their service qualities do not diverge from those offered by the Gore company. OR also collaborates with Gore. The most interesting elements of our collection for the next year are, in my opinion, the compression sacks which can be operated with just one pull of the cord, thermo-active shirts made of 100% materials obtained form recycling processes (PET bottles) and the thing no other company in our market offers –T-shirts with “respiration” possibility, made of 85% polypropylene and 15% merino wool. This patented technology was created by a group of DuPoint engineers who had given up working for the concern and decided to develop their own, unique technologies – continues Marcin Marzec.
