The Kielce delegation headed by Wojciech Lubawskim, the Mayor has taken part in the "Polish Week" in China. The promotion and economy related event was organised in cooperation and under the auspices of the Consulate General in Shanghai
The project has been developed by the Chinese city of Taizhou; the city of Kielce has cooperated with Taizhou since 2009. The undertaking's objective was to expand and promo the partners' cooperation in accordance with the guidelines contained in the document "Mutual Cooperation of the Republic and the Polish People's Republic"; the document was signed by the presidents of both countries in June in Warsaw.
Within the scope of visit, Kielce and Taizhou Mayors signed the official "Partnership Agreement" which has replaced the previously applicable letter of intent.
The delegation included representatives of Targi Kielce Andrzej Mochoń PhD - President of the Management Board and Katarzyna Prostak - Group Projects Director. The visit was designed was to establish cooperation between exhibition centres from both cities, i.e. Targi Kielce SA and Taizhou Conference & Exhibition Centre; a joint economic conference focussed on cooperation prospects between the centres.
Targi Kielce has the cooperation agreement signed with a Chinese partner; its aim is to strengthen business-relations in exhibition industry in Poland and China over the 5 year period.
This will further strengthen cooperation between the Targi Kielce and its Chinese partners.
