The 25th Brigade of Air Cavalry is to demonstrate the army training and the professional equipment in the show held on 5th September, just after the International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO official opening ceremony. The storm-troop soldiers with the back up of two combat helicopters will have to localise the castaway’s whereabouts, to identify him and pick him up in order to evacuate from the military operation area. The platoon operations are carried out within the framework of so called CSAR (Combat Search and Rescue).
The Exhibition of the Polish Armed Forces is held under the banner of “State-of-the-art Equipment in Professional Army”. For a&nbps;number of years this exhibition has been prepared by the Inspectorate of Support for the Armed Forces in conjunction with the Land Forces. This year’s edition will be the showcase for the most modern military armament and equipment used by the Armed Forces; the visitors will be given the chance to become familiar with the equipment used on daily basis by the Land Forces and engineering troops as well as the Naval Forces, the Military Police and of course the Inspectorate of Support for the Armed Forces.
For the first time in the history of the MSPO Fair the Inspectorate’s technical services will have their exhibition stands, and among them the service headquarters for armament and electronics, tanks and vehicles, air force technology, naval technology, engineering equipment operations, OPBMR, telecommunications and information technology operations and digital combat.
- The exhibition is a&nbps;great chance to show how the character of Polish Army changes, and to put on display the most modern gear and equipment and to present the always improving abilities demonstrated by Polish soldiers which allow them to realise their tasks efficiently and effectively even in the most difficult area of operations. It helps to feel the positive atmosphere of a professional army which is always searching for the best possible technical and organisational solutions – says lieutenant-general Zbigniew Tłok-Kosowski, the head of the Inspectorate of Support for the Armed Forces inviting to see the exhibition.
