Boccia, integration run, fencers in addition to charge-free medical screenings. Rehmed holds the sway
It has become the Fair of Rehabilitation, Therapy & Care REHMED-PLUS tradition to hold sports competitions for the disabled.
On 19.04 there will be the integration run organised by Sports and Rehabilitation Association START; the annual event brings together 200 contestants. The expo programme, in addition to the Run, also encompasses the boccia tournament for senior citizens, the chess competition Activ P15’ as well as fencing presentations staged by London 2012 Paralympics athletes.
Not only are there tournaments; during the expo there are also screening tests available free of chare. You can have you hearing testes as well as have the blood pressure, glucose level measured and carbon dioxide content in the patent’s exhaled air assessed. You can also check you visual-motor coordination, have the eyesight examination for age-related macular degeneration. Following the previous years’ example the KOORDYNACJA company of Kowala in Radom district offers a free-of-charge computer examination of patients’ body posture as well as computer-based feet test.
