The Minister of Culture and National Heritage Bogdan Zdrojewski has distinguished Kielce Dance Theatre in recognition of the Theatre’s work on Frederick Chopin’s heritage propagation. Thus the minister expressed his appreciation for the dance and music show CHOPIN4; the premiere of which took place last year in Targi Kielce during the gala opening ceremony of the E pavilion.

Music setting for the show was prepared by, among others; Urszula Dudziak, Aga Zarian and Włodek Pawlik with his band. The "CHOPIN4" show director was Jarosław Minkowicz who has gained fame for his Siedem Bram Jerozolimy (Seven Gates of Jerusalem) performance nominated for Emmy Awards. The dancers in the show were: Ballet Noir New York City dancers, Ballet Arizona and the solo-dancer from Bayerisches - Staatsballet Monachium and the artists of Polish National Ballet. The director of Kielce Dance Theatre Elżbieta Szlufik – Pańtak highlighted, upon collecting the accolade, that the award is both the recognition of the group’s work so far and also mobilisation to work on equally interesting projects.

It is worth mentioning that the opening of the Targi Kielce hall was a success not only in one, but at least in four dimensions. It was the success of the undertaking development; it is here where the idea becomes reality. It was also the success of efficient preparation; the ha;; construction took less than a year. It was also a business success which gave Targi Kielce brand new possibilities of operation.

Four thousand people attended the two unveilings of the CHOPIN4 show; the performance venue was the most state-of-the-art exhibition and congress pavilion in Poland. The size of the hall, including the entresol, amounts to 6700 square metres. The hall of 16,5 metes height is used to hold trade fairs, exhibitions, concerts, cultural and artistic events as well as congresses. The modern conference rooms are fully equipped with the high quality fittings and equipment which make it possible to organise specialised international symposiums in them.
