Renewable energy sources will reign supreme at 2017's ENEX!

Renewable energy sources development is one of the most important objectives outlined in the Polish Energy Policy. RES offer a wide array of energy generation possibilities and utilisation ways, depending on the needs, resources and conditions. Renewable resources are virtually inexhaustible, and ubiquitous. RES investments offer investors very good return on investments. The upcoming ENEX and ENEX New Energy expos go towards dialogue enhancement for RES

How does Poland's RES market develop? A nut-shell knowledge-packed to be ready for the ENEX visit

In 2016, total installed capacity of RES exceeded 8 GW, the growth accounts for almost 20% on year-to-year basis.  Wind installations enjoy the greatest share in Poland' RES market.  RES is much more than power generation, this sector also includes micro and small photovoltaic installations, heat pumps, biomass boilers, and popular solar collectors. With respect to micro PV installations, prosumers are now offered a long-awaited clear system support. The heat pumps market has reported a continual increases and optimistic sales forecasts. An idyllic picture, isn't it? Unfortunately, not for every sector!

According to the Association of Producers and Importers of Heating Appliances report, 2016 has reported substantial decline in the solar collectors business. However a coin has always two sides. This situation is no exception.  As the result of the situation, producers who sell products almost exclusively to individual customer have been eliminated from the market - low price does not compensate unsatisfactory products quality. This has had a negative impact on solar collectors image. Years ago, heat pump faced a  similar problem attributed to selection errors and incompetent installation workmanship. The trend has now reversed and heat pumps sales are growing.
