The first day of the Garden Expo staged in Targi Kielce was held under the banner of lectures and discussions on urban green areas development
Greenery and Small Urban Architecture Exhibition is the first-time project organized within the scope of the XXIV Garden Fair OGRÓD i TY. One of the points on the event's agenda is the "Greenery in great demand" conference. The conference discusses the role of trees and and tree-logging, trees and shrubs selection to be used in urban areas, technologies associated with the trees planting. The event is targeted at both municipal services, developers, representatives of local governments, landscape architects as well as private gardens owners. The conference includes key-note speakers such as Grzegorz Falkowski- Polish Nursery Association, Bartosz Piwowarski - Kielce Geopark and professor Engineer Marek Siewniak PhD. Hab and Katarzyna Wrona - Ornamental Trees and Shrubs Nursery "Bór".
The event was also the occasion to commemorate Targi Kielce's 25th anniversary by planting a tree. This was also a demonstration of correct techniques and the presentation of the latest planting tools.
The event is organized Kielce City Hall and Targi Kielce.
