ROMAN BATHELT WINS 2018'S YOUNG AGRICULTURAL PRODUCERS OLYMPICS

The 24th International Fair of Agricultural Techniques AGROTECH is the arena for the final round of the very important business-sector competition

The national finals of the Young Agricultural Producers Olympics was staged in Targi Kielce, on the first day of Poland's largest and most prestigious agricultural fair -AGROTECH 2018. The competition was organised by the Rural Youth Association.

The young farmers had to compete in the a three-stage contest crowned with the final round held in Kielce.   The finals was the arena for the 10 best participants who had to demonstrate their know-how and skills in the test and practical parts.

Following previous years' example, young agricultural producers presented farming very high competence level.  The victory laurel was presented to Roman Bathelt, Andrzej Szubert was the competition runner-up, and Dawid Nenczak was third in the ranking.  

The event was held under the auspices of Adam Jarubas, Marshal of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, Czesław Siekierski PhD. - the Chairman of the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development of the European Parliament, professor engineer  Włodzimierz Sady - the Rector of the University of Agriculture in Krakow, Wiktor Szmulewicz President of the National Council of Agricultural Chambers.

The competition jury was composed of: the chairman of the commission, engineer  Urszula Malaga-Toboła PhD. Hab.- UR Kraków, engineer   Dariusz Kwaśniewski PhD. Hab. and engineer  Urszula Sadowska Phd, engineer  Dariusz Baran PhD. - UR Kraków, Eng. Krystyna Banaś M.Sc. - Poviat Agricultural Advisory Centre in Kielce - ŚODR Modliszewice, engineer  Małgorzata Powałka MPhD. - a plough-free technology magazine"Without a Plough".
