Świętokrzyskie is famous for its witches Sabbaths on the top of the Łysica mountain. This is a contemporary embodiment of the traditions embodied as the fourth assembly of fantasy and games lovers – Sabat Fiction-Fest. The event takes place from 29 September to 1 October in the Kielce Exhibition Centre
Last year's Festival gathered over 1,600 participants. In the competition organized by the FARMA Foundation and the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship's Marshal Office, the event was pronounced "The best initiative for the youth in Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship".
This year's festival edition offers its participants a chance to take part in the lectures and meet the author session with the festival guests: Jack Komuda,the winner of Leonid Teliga Award for the "Galleons of War" novel and the author of more than 20 novels, including the recently published "Hubal" about the war-period guerrillas haded by Major Henryk Dobrzański; Paweł Majka, the two-time winner of the Jerzy Żuławski literary prize. He has also been nominated twice for the prestigious Janusz A. Zajdel accolade. The author of the first Polish novel set in the Metro Universe 2034 – "A Promised District". The list includes Artur Szyndler, the creator of the first Polish feature game "Crystals of the Time" published in "Magic and the Sword" magazine, a former editor of the Polish edition of "Dungeons & Dragons". Katarzyna Miszczuk, the winner of the 2016's best novel of the year title for her "Szeptucha" novel in the fantasy novel category of the lubimyczytać.pl portal. Jacek Łukawski, the author of the "Blood and Steel" novel and "Land of the Dead Earth". There are also YouTubers such as ut3} Łukasz Stelmachknown under the Ichabod nickname and Łukasz Gad – the creator of the Gad Mode channel and Adam Antolski aka UncleMroowa.

The Cosplay Contest is an important point on the Saturday agenda. Participants will present their own, hand-made dressed of movies, comics, manga and anime as well as books and computer games characters. If this has triggered you interest, you are most welcome to join the competition.
E-sports zone
Participants are also in for the e-sports zone which features the most popular computer games: Counter Strike Global Offensive, Leauge of Legends and FIFA 2017 in addition to WarCraft III as well as the board and card games. The Gamesroom will host popular games tournaments – Magic the Gatering and Kingdomino are the examples.
The attractions galore features RPG games session – D & D, Crystals of Time, Savage Worlds and origami and calligraphy, LARPs workshops and battle games tournaments such as Warhammer Fantasy Battle.
The second day of the festival will gain extra splendour with the Polish Garrison – the famous 501 Legion. The Star Saga fans may enjoys Star Wars costume and characters shows prepared by garrison representatives.
The festival will also feature representatives of furry fandom, the so-called Fursuiters. All furry costumes lovers will have the chance to admire elaborate costumes and become familiar with the "animal soul" of the fursuitters.
The festival participants have the possibility to spend the night at the special event area's sleep room.
